TLA is the brainchild of three well respected and established real estate lawyers from Mexico and the United States: Frank W. Busch III, former CEO of Thomas Title and founder of investment firm Deloache Capital, David W. Connell of Connell & Associates, and Jonathan Pikoff of Pikoff & Associates. Together, they have over 70 years of combined experience providing real estate and corporate transaction services in the United States and Latin America.
About TLA Financial Services
TLA Escrow Services was formed in 2014 to provide institutional investors and high net worth individuals with professional U.S.-style escrow services, initially for assets in Mexico and Latin America. TLA has expanded its business lines over time to serve the corporate and real estate escrow needs of clients in the U.S. and other jurisdictions outside Latin America. TLA was born as an affiliate of Thomas Title & Escrow in 2006 (now part of the Stewart Title family - NYSE:STC), but then spun off into a separate company in 2014. Today, TLA is licensed by the Texas Department of Banking and counts some of the largest law firms, investors and lenders in both the U.S. and Latin America as clients.

We are regulated by the Texas Department of Banking, entailing very comprehensive compliance and security measures. We also must meet net worth requirements and have our financial statements audited each year by an outside certified public accounting firm.

U.S. Based
Our firm is headquartered in Dallas, Texas, but we also have local staff strategically located to serve clients across our markets.

Our escrow accounts are held at major U.S. and global banks like BMO Harris and Capital One.
